Con ocasión de participar en el viaje organizado por IPA-CV a Kenia y Lamu, Presidente y Delegada de Cooperación, aprovechamos la oportunidad para alargar la estancia y visitar el poblado de nuestro amigo y compañero de fatigas Jackson, ubicado en Amboseli dentro del condado de Kajiado, a 6 kilómetros del famoso parque reserva nacional de Amboseli (Kenia).
Partiendo desde Nairobi y tras más de 5 horas de viaje para llegar al mismo, pudimos comprobar las condiciones en las que se desarrolla la vida cotidiana de sus habitantes.
Nos reunimos con los miembros del poblado para esta primera toma de contacto y poder valorar las necesidades, que siendo todas ellas reales, considerar cuales eran las más prioritarias.
On the occasion of the trip organised by IPA-CV to Kenya and Lamu, the President itself and the Delegate of Cooperation took the opportunity to extend the stay and visit the town of our friend Jackson, located in Amboseli, within the county of Kajiado, 6 kilometers from the famous Amboseli National Reserve Park (Kenya).
Leaving from Nairobi and after more than 5 hours of travel to reach it, they were able to verify the conditions of its inhabitants’ daily life.
They met with the members of the village for this first contact and to be able to assess the needs and which were the highest priority.
Recorrida la zona o terreno que tenían asignado por el gobierno para poder ejecutar las construcciones que pudieran necesitar y siempre rodeados y acompañados por una parte de los moradores del mismo, se realiza breve reportaje fotográfico para una mejor idea de aprovechamiento del mismo.
After visiting the area they had assigned by the government to carry out the constructions that they may need, always accompanied by a part of the inhabitants, a brief photographic report is made for a better idea of using it.
De las conclusiones que se obtengan tras el análisis de lo visto, las entrevistas realizadas y los comentarios captados, se realizará el oportuno informe para poder redactar el proyecto que más se adecue a los mismos.
From the conclusions obtained after the visit, a report will be made in order to draft the project that best suits them.
